Walking through a new training Project
The training coordinator and specialist first meet to understand the company’s needs, gathering key details such as training goals, job responsibilities, safety requirements, and process expectations.
After this, they visit the company floor to observe real operations. During this walkthrough, the training specialist documents workflows, equipment, tasks, and potential safety hazards using notes, photos, and videos.
Back in the office, all collected information is used to develop accurate, job-specific training materials. The overall goal of this process is to ensure training reflects real working conditions, improves safety, and supports better job performance.
Designed as a scenario-based course, it places learners in Joseph’s shoes, guiding them through the decision-making process of developing job-specific training. From conducting client meetings and gathering information to identifying and designing engaging content, participants make choices that shape Joseph’s success. The project blends storytelling with interactive activities—such as walkthroughs, branching scenarios, and knowledge checks—to immerse learners in real-world challenges. By combining narrative, visuals, and practical decision-making, this course not only introduces Joseph’s journey but also equips learners with the skills to create effective, customer-focused training solutions.
