Problem

New Training Specialists often struggle to understand the walkthrough process and how information gathered during client meetings and observations is used to develop job- specific training. The challenge was to create an engaging introduction that clearly explained the relationship between client meetings, walkthroughs, and training development.

Solution

I developed a 30-second animated video in Vyond that visually demonstrates the training development process from project kickoff to training creation. Through storytelling, narration, and animation, the video follows the journey of a Training Specialist and Training Coordinator as they gather information, conduct a walkthrough, and use their findings to develop effective training materials.

Results

The video provides learners with a clear understanding of the walkthrough process and its role in training development. It serves as an engaging course introduction, establishes context for the learning experience, and creates a smooth transition into the scenario-based activities that follow.
